Welcome to our charming Gite La Frédière *** with large pool.
Set in unspoilt countryside, by the beautiful little river Bramrit, this is the perfect location to relax at the large brand new pool (11x4,5m), unwind, and enjoy the beauty of nature while enjoying the comfort of the spacious and very well-equipped holiday home. You will have the sole use of a private garden with a barbecue, picnic table, and benches. A private pontoon by the river offers a unique idyll to picnic or simply listen to the water.

Situated directly on the Saint Compestella pilgrimage route, there are many lovely walks straight from your door. The region offers cycling, canoe, and water ski as well as boat trips on the Charente. The beautiful village of St Savinien has a choice of food shops, a pharmacy, doctors, cinema and a market twice a week (10min drive). The historic valley of Saintonge is enriched by the fascinating, lively market towns of Saintes and St. Jean d'Angely, both of which have great open markets and boast a range of independent shops with a wide choice of restaurants, cafes, cinemas and theaters.

 

Atlantic Ocean beaches are only 50 minutes drive away, La Rochelle and the Ille de Re are within easy reach, and the great city of Bordeaux is but a 60 minutes drive. Your holiday home is in the heart of the Cognac region with its wealth of delicious, tempting local products.

The Gite can accommodate up to 10 people easily. WiFi and electrical heating is available everywhere.
Ground Floor: charming living room with traditional fireplace (working), TV, DVD, stereo, books, and board games.
Spacious, open, very well-equipped kitchen with two fridge freezers, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, ...for all your needs. The kitchen can be heated with an ion stove additional to the electric heating
Cozy double bedroom (Queen size bed) with ensuite brandnew large bathroom (shower, WC, and washing machine).
First Floor : Comfortable second bedroom with large Kingsize bed.
A second brandnew bathroom with Italian shower.
Third large bedroom with 4 single beds and one Queensize bed, ideal for a family or a group.

All bedding is new and baby beds and equipment is available.
